COLLECTION BUILDING KIT
This collection of eight pictures was created in 2018. Individual ceramic pieces (components) were stacked on the handmade paper.
“At the beginning there was a plan to make a ceramic building kit for children. However, dozens of parts started to tease my fantasy and I found myself building on my own. I was combining, improvising but mainly playing in my studio. At the end of each game there was a finished picture in front of me, which I didn’t want to destroy. It seemed logical to conserve the stacked building kits into pictures and so keep the memories of the game, that was originally supposed to be played by somebody else.”
